Hi I went to Elliot Stables with my wife to celebrate our 6 month wedding aniversary and we had a lovely meal from two different restaurants but the dessert from el faro was amazing! I had churros in Melbourne at an authentic spanish cafe and I've never tasted anything that matched this....until el faro. I think the reason is the other places I've tried like Didas and Bellota use egg in the batter mixture which is not the real deal. Also the chocolate was rich, dark and generous at el faro. I spoke to the owner and personally congratulated him on making one of my all time favourite desserts. I know where to go now and for my Spanish hit. One thing also about Elliot Stables is that your are spoilt for choice - what a great concept.
