Amusement & Theme Parks in New Zealand

The golf was fun but found the service hot/cold. We inquired beforehand & were told there was food/cafe on site. As we were planning on eating first then relax with coffee/drinks after the game it sounded perfect. It turned out to be coffee & just biscuits. We asked if we were able to buy food from other premises. We were told no. After we purchased our food we sat outside to eat. The guy then came out & told us we weren't allowed to eat outside either. It was cold & raining, we ended up eating in the car. It it was up to us, we would have left but others were on their way to join us & it was my friend's birthday so we stayed for the game. It's fair enough to not want food consumed there from other premises but it should have been made clear to us that there wasn't a cafe and it didn't serve food, just snacks. I believe it was the owner who served us because of the names listed on their website. An untrained or lazy employee I can forgive but for the owner to be so rude I wouldn't go there again.
