I am an American who shopped at The Merino Shop while on a birding tour with Manu Tours. The shop was very neat and well organized with an excellent selection of items in a pleasing array of colors. After selecting a soft and gorgeous hand-woven bed spread I sought the advice of the merchant in selecting some clothing items. She helped me select gloves, socks and a scarf that most people with contact allergies to wool have worn comfortably. When I returned to the States with these gifts, my family members were delighted not only only by the quality but also by the wearability. I could not have asked for better service. This experience of honesty, helpfullness and knowledgeable customer service is why I would strongly recommend The Merino Shop to anyone who is interested in purchasing woolen items of beauty and quality.
