Automotive Repairs in Hastings

BP 2GO Milllward Motors was commissioned to undertake a service on my vehicle. They informed me there were several problems that required urgent attention and quoted me approximately $500-$560. I told Millward I intended to take the vehicle away before they did any work on it. They then proceeded to inform me that the vehicle was "unfit to be driven" and should not even be taken home. I had recently purchased the vehicle from a respectable dealer who out of good faith said they would fix the problems highlighted by Millward. The dealer inspected the car and provided evidence that the problems highlighted by Millward actually did NOT require work and the car was fine to be driven. I gave Millward the opportunity to explain their actions and they informed me that they had made a mistake, no repairs were necessary and the car was fit to be driven without paying them the $500-$560 they quoted for the repairs.
