This was a great pre-school for me. i learnt so many things which has helped me achieve so much. If you are looking to place your child in one of Nelsons many childcare centres, this would be the way to go. They have a fantastic facility, with spacious rooms, exciting playground and the park on the other side of the road. I really enjoyed Healthkids and had a best friends of both gender who came to my birthday parties. Some of my friends i still know and are friends with. I think that Healthkids really boosted my learning ability and many others ability aswell, why i was in the enrichment class at Nelson Intermediate for two years and so were two others in my class who also went to Healthkids and Oliver has also been placed in the year nine accelerant class at Nelson college for boys. The head girl at Nelson Intermediate even went to Healthkids!!! Add the many others who have also achieved great things and you'll see why i'm raving on about it. Overall i think that Healthkids was a brilliant pre-school. I always felt needed and cared for, learnt so much about respecting others, making friends and right from wrong, learnt basic acedemic skills like writing my name, the alphabet and so on, and most of all had whole lot of fun while doing everything. In 2006 there was a reuniun for all the Healthkids past and present students, going back there brought back so many memories i was surprised to see so many photos of myself and friends after such a long time and the best thing about the reuniun was that my old teachers that still worked there rememered my name and things i had done and greeted me cheerily. Thankyou for considering Healthkids and i'm sure that if you choose for your child to go there they will have as much fun as i had. Sarah
