Funeral Arrangements in Matamata-Piako

I used Chris as our funeral director and dealt with Matthew the owner as well. The service it's self was great, many people etc, however we had multiple problems using this funeral director and communication with the owner. Firstly incorrect date of dealth engraved on the coffin, we were told this would be corrected at the venue however this was failed to be done, there was no acceptable excuse for this to occur, let alone for it not to be corrected at the venue. Secondly, the songs used at the venue were incorrect, the director was given a CD with the songs even written on the outside of the CD, however for no reason these were not played. Thirdly, the ash box was also engraved incorrectly, they incorrectly spelt the name of the month wrong! I would have thought if you got the engraving wrong on the coffin you would take care and insure this doesnt happen again, but it did! I do not think any of this is acceptable and I believe that it shows a real lack of care, professional and respect! I talked to the owner re these matter and he gave me the excuse that mistakes happen and he did what he could in to what he called a timely matter. I do not think anyone else should have to go through a grieving and then have to put up with many mistake the funeral director make and have to inform them of there error to which they dont correct or cant correct. I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE NOT TO USE SADLIER FUNERAL SERVICE OR THEIR OTHER COMPANY SEATON PARK FUNERAL SERVICES!!!
