This company are unhelpful time-wasters with bad business practices. I found Tauranga Awnings and canopies through this site. I contacted them to see if they could install some eyelets in canvas for me and at what price to which they answered that they could do it and gave me a price for it, asking me to call before we came in. We called them the next day and were told to come in after 3:15 which we did. However, when we got there at 3:45, (after a 40 min drive to get there) we were told we were too late for them to help us that day after all. Not only did they make no effort not to waste our time and fuel going there, and didn't seem at all sorry to have put us out, but on top of that, they also decided that the price they told us was now going to have $60 on top (with no particular explanation for this), simply saying we are going to charge you for the half an hour labour time on top of a price per eye-let. I think that it is very rude and bad business practice to give someone a price and time to come in, then not honour either of those agreements. I wouldn't wish to do business with them.
