Sir - I am about to travel from Levin to Paraparaumu for the 3rd time to try & get satisfaction from this branch of your business - today I was told after a 4 minute 'test' that my replacement Russel Hobbs jug doesn't leak & would definitely not be replaced - I had already had the previous jug replaced for the same problem - 'Russel Hobbs made in China' appears to be bad for business However the jug does indeed leak because after about an hour the water leaks into the base. Left overnight the jug empties itself onto my kitchen bench! Unfortuntately the local manager does not appear to understand that 1) The customer should not be embarrassed in front of other customers when insisting that there is a problem & 2) Consideration of a more thorough procedure for 'testing' alleged faulty products could be an idea . And that failure to act in a more considerate manner will result in 3) The fact I have now spent about $50 on gas to travel between the two towns to try & sort this problem. I will endeavour to address this when I return .... again! next week - And ... to quote the famous American General Patton - "I WILL RETURN" Yours sincerely 'Very irritated customer'
