I am writing a review of Ingram's skip bin removal service because, since I began work at McDonald's, Hawera, late January, 2009, it has been my particular duty, as maintenance/cleaner, for a time the only one at this branch, to phone through for the bins to be picked up and to prepare and help the drivers take them away. As a natural part of one having the welfare of my company at heart, and also of good will towards every one I have dealings with, especially while in a McDonald's uniform, I very quickly formed very genuine friendships with the drivers who came, especially the one who came most often. A pick up was something I would look forward to, and we had it all worked out so well, with them always helping me to move the bins, and even greasing the wheels which made so much difference. Modern times has seen them take their last bins away yesterday, and, since, if I were in business, you know the saying, "Birds of a feather, flock together!" I would be sticking with them all the way regardless of extra financial inducements that new comers may offer, the least I could do was write a personal endorsement, which coming from a McDonald's which has been, in its very short history, No 1 in NZ, should say something for how good they really are in their field and hopefully encourage local businesses, enterprising enough to be surfing the Net to see this recommendation, to hire them in preference to overseas profit orientated companies, who are not really in it for the long haul.
