If there was a zero star rating i would but there is no option for it. I took Mountaineering instruction course with AC with lots of hiking experience on my end. I was extremely unhappy with the course. First of all, I compromise my trip days (5days to 4days cause they wanted me to since I was the only one who signed up) then I get there, I only get to climb ONE day out of 4days. First 2 days was completely waste of time. We weren't even outdoor hiking nor climbing and last day was as well. I was expected to climb that day but the guide decided to show me few tricks about snow gear and then we return back to headquarter. It was more like 2 days of course which I feel that AC mis advertised the course. I feel it was over priced for what the course provided (1750$ NZ). And the guide was completely unprofessional. He would lose patient with me if I didn't understand what he was trying to teach me and gave me an attitude. On top of that, his transportation was absolutely disgusting. I felt that the guide's transportation and his attitude represent how unprofessional AC was. I and couple of my friends were planning on Kili trip this Sept. but I am seeking other guide company. I heard good t hings about Alpine Guide. Please go with Alpine Guide.
