We were originally going to build with a competitor house building company (Jennian Homes), but it was the start of the recession, and wanting to get the best value for money, we thought it was prudent to have a look at another option. We visited DW Home's show home in Waiuku and were impressed with its quality and layout. We had our own plans and proceeded down the path of getting it priced up. Right from the start DW Homes were very professional and easy to deal with. They were quick to get back with estimates and we were impressed that the owner Damian was so involved, he showed us work in progress homes and completed houses to show us how our house would be built. We made the decision to build with DW and have absolutely no regrets. The house was finished ahead of schedule and slightly under the initial budget. It was important to us that the house come in on budget and that the contract we signed was fixed. We have been in our house now 10 weeks and absolutely love it. We have had so many positive comments from friends, neighbours and complete strangers. I would have no hesitation recommending DW to anyone wanting to build a home. Thank you, Melanie & Jon Kyle

"Following the devastating Darfield earthquake on the 4th September 2010, the eastern part of the Waimakariri District suffered extensive damage to the underground infrastructure. Drain Surgeons arrived on 8th September from Auckland with multiple teams ready to help, firstly clearing the sewers of silt resulting from the liquefaction, then identifying where there were breakages that allowed reticulation Contractors to effect repairs where needed.r... We wish to tell you how happy we are with the job. You and the boys have provided excellent service all the way through a difficult time for us and the finished product is superb. We are happy to give testimonials to other potential customers if required. Peter asks if you could advise what type of grass seed you use as he may need to get some more at some stage and he doesn't want to mix them. Once again, thanks very much for a job well done.
