Not at all recommended. I had the engine removed and re-installed in a classic car. The engine was reconditioned else where (luckily). The car was returned to me by All Fleet after the engine was re-installed but was almost un-driveable, though this was due to the carb being faulty, not their fault. I drove it away to lose all electric power in the middle of a round-about, due to All Fleet not installing the generator wires correctly (there are only threes wires and this is a very standard generator) On being towed back to All Fleet, the owner did not seem very interested in sorting this problem out. He pointed out he had an important job that had to be out that night, more important than me, a customer who had (foolishly) already paid. As I felt I was being ignored I helped myself to their tools and worked out what was wrong with the generator wiring. (the batt wire was connected to the generator ground, the relay box relay luckily isolated it until I removed the relay box cover, which then clicked the relay on, and you guessed it the loom went up in smoke) I also discovered that the generator light wire was hanging loose, which meant the dash gen light was not operational. This generator issue was repaired in an amatuerish way by All Fleet, the ground wire was replaced as it was burnt out due to the incorrect installation (it caught fire) They did not have a black wire so they used a red wire and used a felt marker to make it black (nice) Once this was fixed I drove off very disgruntled vowing never to return, which I have not. I have since worked in the engine bay and discovered some other issues. The temperature sender was shorted, because the power steering pump was at its lowest adjustment point, and resting on the output of the sender. This meant the sender output was shorted. (so I had a non working always low temp gauge) This happened because the wrong size power steering pump belt was fitted (too small). Also the cross member under the car was bent (not bent by All fleet), which meant fitting the last bolt must have been an issue. Rather than fix the problem they rammed the last bolt in on an angle, cross threaded it and left it with about an inch of the bolt hanging out. This holds the engine and gearbox in which is not light. Minor things include not being able to put the original set of spark leads back in (they fitted and were in good condition previously) opting to replace one of the blue ones with a fatter red one with right angle boots cf the straight ones on the blue set. Reason was given by All Fleet that one was too short, funny how they fitted previously? Picky maybe but I spent over $10 000 reconditioning my engine, having it repainted and restored to new condition. The pointer on the dash for the transmission does not line up with the positions, an easy adjustment. I paid a lot of money for the work by All Fleet and was not satisfied, all I can say is dont pay until the job is finished I paid before I drove away. Better still talk to the classic car clubs and find out who is good first before you part with you money time and sanity, and go elsewhere.
