Pet Grooming in Wellington City

i just had my Griffon groomed at Smooch Pooch today and Calley was absolutely excellent. I chose Smooch after firstly hearing great things about at the dog beach when people saw I had a Griffon and recommended her, she was highly recommended by many different people to me, and then meeting Calley herself at a different beach. A week before he was due in a girl came up to me on the street to play with Alfie and recommended Smooch as she had her Poodle groomed there so I knew I had made the right choice. Calley instantly made us feel welcome and at ease (it was Alfie's first time getting groomed). She asked us exactly how we wanted him, how short we wanted him how we wanted his face, head, beard etc. She was also completely understanding with his bladder problems (slight lekage every now and then!) which I thought was so kind. Her 2 Griffons also made Alfie feel very welcome. When we picked Alfie up he was really happy, not the quivering wreck I was expecting. Tail wagging, running round not scared at all so Calley had obviously made him feel very at ease. One of the best things I liked was that she had trimmed his toenails but also rounded them off with a file so they werent sharp anymore...fantastic! He looked perfect, was perfect length and his face was just as I had asked! I couldnt ask for more from Calley and she even more she offers a free gift on a first groom with her, usually a bandaner or keychain for the collar. How kind. Will 100% be sending Alfie back and highly recommend her for your small to medium dog.

I would recommend Paws in the City, they treated me with utmost respect and my dog came out smelling and looking beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful and they charged me what they quoted me even though my dog went in very matted. Thank you to the groomer for making Daisy look and feel great again - I've even made my next booking already.
