Tradespeople (Building) in Waitakere City

In February 2012, I purchased a Groupy voucher that entitled me to 2 hours of Plumbing work for $69. I thought this sounded like an excellent deal, but as is often the case with these deals, it was too good to be to true. When the contractor arrived at my property (25 mins late, I might add), he explained that I wanted to move two taps further across a wall and a new drain hole drilled through to outside. He promptly told me that not only did he have no butyl pipe, he also had no joiners or wingbacks. Furthermore, he had no core drill. And to make matters worse, if I wanted him to do the work, it would take all two hours of the voucher to go and get the parts at which point I would be charged at the standard rate. Needless to say, he was advised to leave so I could call a 'real' plumber (who showed up the same day and had all the tools with them). So overall, I paid $69 to have my time wasted by a disorganised and incompetent contractor - what a deal!
