We highly recommend Auckland Tree Services, both for their skill in large & small tree work and their excellent customer care. We have relied on Alex and his team for many years for their tree-trimming technique as well as for their ability to understand what the customer wants to achieve. In 2011 we returned from two and a half years overseas to our home in Howick, where we were immediately faced with the task of sorting out our garden full of weeds, over grown trees and expired shrubs. At first we thought that bit-by-bit we could tackle the task on our own and besides we assumed that it would be far too expensive to hire anyone to help. Pretty soon it started to dawn on us that some of the things we needed doing were more major than we had first anticipated. Due to our busy lives even the things that we were 'technically' capably of addressing were not likely to be tackled for quite a while, if ever! It was about this time that we were recommended Doug and his team at DS Trees and Landscapes. We were reassured by what we were told and gave him a call. Doug quickly provided a quote for pruning, and removal of a large number of trees and shrubs, including stump grinding. He organised subcontractors for specialist items, including arborist work on a damaged feature tree. Doug gave us one itemised quote for everything and seamlessly manages the whole project. Doug and his team provided a great professional service. Doug managed to provide solutions that delivered to our expectations and budget (He kept within it!!!) and there was the added value of him taking the time to advise us on how we could develop the garden, now that they had revealed the main structure of it. We have nothing but praise for their quality work. We have received many compliments from friends and neighbours on our garden and enquires for Dougs contact details.
