I was excited when I stopped at prawn park for lunch on my way back to Auckland after a 3 day road trip, I always really enjoyed the freshly steamed prawn from the restaurant, unfortunately their standard had an obvious slip since couple years ago. About half of the prawn from my 1/2 kg platter of 'freshly steamed prawn' was steel and mushy, it was worse than the frozen ones you can get from the super market, I will not return again unless the quality improves, very disappointing experience from the restaurant that suppose provide their customer with 'freshest prawn' straight from the park. instead, the prawns tasted like they were dead for a few months! :(
