My all time favourite Thai restaurant with its small intimate setting, a very authentic restaurant with Thai decorations and great thai food for a decent price. Seafood curry is a definite must-try!

My girl and I were in need of a bite during our marathon car trip from Waikato to the Hawkes Bay. Myself being somewhat of a Thai addict, it didn't take long 'til we were seated at a cosy little table in the lovely atmosphere of the Thai Delight restaurant. This place exudes charm, with its honest and humble interior. I love it when Thai restaurants are fitted out with fountains, Buddha and gold utensils and this place didn't disappoint. Our waiter for the afternoon was extremely well presented with a great grasp on service. The glasses were crytal clear clean and the lemon in the water had just the right amount of zest. The food? It was definitely very, very good. An entree of spring rolls, mains of Pad Thai, green curry with prawns, and a vibrant seafood dish, all very well plated and flavoured. Compliments Chef. My only quibble would be that the building itself could be likened to a fishbowl. However, some deft touches of layout and design ensure that the experience is a focussed and intimate one. 4 stars from this reviewer. Needless to say, we resumed our trip nicely sated!

I came here for a smorgasboard of a few dishes and being my first time having Thai food,I just loved the different tastes,especially the noodle soup and deep fried mushrooms.I would recommend this place to anybody wanting to try this yummy food.

If you like Thai food this has to be the best in town. We have had both take out and dine in. Always great and the service is very friendly. Lots of fun especially when the owner's husband is there,

Perfect Thai, best in the North Island! Great atmosphere and suculant food! Whenever the taste for Thai comes to the brain, my auto pilot navigates me to Thai village!

Great meal with great service. Even fitted my table (for two) in on a busy Saturday night. Thinmbs up all round
