DO NOT use this mechanics stay clear!!!Customer service absolutely appalling!!!!! The fat old b%^&$ behind the counter has the most sour looking face I have come accross before, will not budge a smile, has rude telephone manner and bad communication skills. This was my first experience at Vogeltown automotive I thought I would give them a try as I live near, definetely regret this decision. Booked appointment for 1pm for brakes to be balanced also told the lady to see whether radiator needs flushing. She told me she would ring before any work to be done and to give me a price. An hour an a half went by and I was wondering where that phone call from her was, so I rang her instead telling her I need my car back whats going on (as I have a 7month old baby to take home)... she said the guy had nearly done finishing the brakes . Was pissed off she never consulted me first without a price, so I told her ok Im coming in 15 mins to pick it up. She rang me in 5 mins to say if I still wanted the radiotor done the mechanic can do it in 45mins this was at 3 oclock and I said ok thats fine go ahead and do it she quoted me $50+gst/hour labour and $30 for coolant. Turn up there at 4pm ready to get car as it was supposed to be finished around 3:45 she told me hes just finishing up so I was ok with that and txted my mum to say I will be about ten minutes as she was looking after baby. Half an hour goes by and I am starting to get angry now, as it is 45 mins past the time she quoted me while fully knowing that I needed my car. I politely asked her how long it will be she said in a snappy voice 'he has to wait till the fan cools down' to which I replied ' and how many minutes is that?' then we got in an argument her raising her voice at me. Then when she wrote up the bill it was $257!? I will never be going back here again and will be telling people to stay away from this joke of a business as long as that fat f%^@ is there.
