I'd been trying to track down the glazier who installed our cat door 2 months ago as it recently slipped out of line, leaving a long gap above the glass adapter. We no longer had their details, and everyone denied having had our job. This guy simply arranged to come by and look at it which I assumed was to see if it rang a bell. While he was here he simply removed the cat door, assessed the issue and solved it. I warned him that I had no money and offered to pay him in 2 days time but he refused. It only took him a few minutes and some sort of sealer that the previous guy hadn't used. I learnt 2 lessons from this: a) keep the details of anyone who does any work for you. Business cards don't take up much room. b) call this guy for any small glazier work. It's obvious that if anything goes wrong, he'll put you right again. ;-)
