We had an amazing flight from Wellington to Takaka with Golden Bay Air - it only took 50 minutes compared to the 4 hours via Nelson (or all day going on the ferry!). The fare was great value too, when you add up all the costs of going other ways. There were fantastic views on the way over Wellington City, Marlborough Sounds and Abel Tasman. Pilots are professional and friendly - a perfect start to a great holiday.
