we had a tv, still under warrenty, it had a fault. Went in 7 months ago, someone was surposed to ring us..never did. We went in again, finally several weeks later tv was taken away. Told 2 weeks max to fix. About 4 weeks later i went in, and was told the following week it would be back. i wailted in all week. no tv, i went in that friday and was told that it would be there monday...guess what..no tv, i waited in mon and tue, on wednesday i went in and was told that it couldnt be fixed. They would replace it...hooray. 3 weeks pass, i then get a phone call from the IUG people (who deal with the extended warrenty) and was told yes we will replace it, but we need to decide what model we will give you, another week goes by and yet another person rings from IUG and says they will indead relace it and tell me the model they will replace it with....guess what not available at the shop ...or in neighbouring towns for us to look at and decide. This lady tells me this matter has just come across her desk, and was surprised to say the least that I knew they were replacing it some 3-4 week before and i have been waiting. The story gets worse, apparently there was a fault with the model that we purchased, and the original one we purchased blew up about 3 weeks after buying it, and when that came back to us after going away for repairs, was not fixed....the best they did on that occasion was replacing it for a shop model. About half way through this time we were offered a shop voucher(no amount mentioned), as a way of smoothing things over, yesterday when we went into the shop and finally spoke to the manager(who had apparently told the saleman about the shop voucher) , made out like he knew nothing of our situation. He was totally unhelpful, and fobbed us off to a saleman...we were in the shop 2 hours yesterday trying to sort this out...the conclusion is we will pay the difference to upgrade to a tv that is available!! Shame on you noel leemings. Apparently figures say consumers shop in this type of shop once a year, becasue of the cycle that things need replacing...in 5 years we have spent in excess of 10 K in this one shop alone...guess what....never again as loyality means diddly squat!
