Quite simply we wanted a sandwich so we called into "Out of the Blue"-where I asked for an untoasted sandwich then I was told by the staff "oh no, we cant make you a plain sandwich we dont do those here, it has to be toasted because we dont use fresh bread!" we were amazed to say the least, but oddly they seemed more surprised to see us turn about and walk out. So if you find yourself in Tairua and wish to pay over the odds on a toasted sandwich made with stale bread, you know the place to go!
