The Downhill Ski Club operates two lodges. One near the top of the National Chair on Whakapapa and one In Carroll St, National Park. Both are well set up for skiers and snow boarders. Both sleep about 36 people, have drying rooms, ski work benches etc. The rates are reasonable as it is a non profit operation. There is about 50/50 mix of single and family members of all abilities.
