Had 6 new windows and a slide door installed on our brick house, took 3 days. Suction & hand marks still visible on all glass, nails on new trims were still protruding, the corners of some trims not flush, on the outside of all the windows i can run my index finger around the sides and bottom of most of the windows. There is obvious gaps between the brickwork and newly installed frames, i don't think it should be like that? I live in a high wind zone, and when it rains, wicked! Spoke with installer Tuesday, if he seals the sides and bottoms, his reply was no they just seal above the frames. because there is enough aluminium on the sides. Has been raining and strong winds since and yes rains been getting in the gaps & hear the whistling of the wind coming through the gaps!!! all in all, GREAT LOOKINg windows, just nonprofessional workmanship. Should i Use expandable filler around the outside frames?
