Accommodation in Petone

Our group of five had a delightful eating experience at Speights Ale House in Petone. Bearing in mind it is a pub and contrary to the above review we had excellent service. Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager who made sure we were well looked after for the evening. The restaurant was full and was a bit noisy but it added to an exciting Friday night atmosphere. Our drinks order was taken at the table and arrived within minutes. Our waitress was professional and pleasant. The meals were great. Fish of the day was tasty and tender served with crunchy potatoes. The chicken parcels were also delicious - very tasty. All meals presented in an attractive manner. All in all a very tasty meal in very friendly and lively surroundings. Good pub fare and good prices. I will certainly return.
