Cafes in Newmarket

This is the worst cafe experience I have ever had in New Zealand. I ordered nachos. The corn chips were stale, the mince was watery and the so called sour cream turned out to be cottage cheese..They must think that we wouldnt know what sour cream should taste like..I ordered tea, the grumpy girl asked if I was having milk and sugar with I said yes and she said to go and wait..waited and waited and then I went back to check, she had mixed the milk and the sugar with my tea and I told her that I thought they were going to serve the milk separate because I'd like to mix the milk to my liking..she argued and argued that it was my fault and I asked if she could just give me black tea instead and she said I had to pay the new tea..and still arguing that I was wrong..in the end another staff member gave me what I wanted..Worst customer service in the universe, worst nachos in the world. It's not a fancy place (it's in the foodcourt) but I lived on their food when I lived in Newmarket. I have worked my way on their menu and keep coming back when I get the chance. Everything's just flavourful and a full tummy is guaranteed. Try the Mixed Meats Fried Noodles, Beef Brisket Noodle, Roast Duck - you won't be disappointed! Plus, service is quick!

Sunrise doesn't seem like a place where you would find the most authentic and delicious Hong Kong style food in Auckland. It definitely is though - you walk in to customarily cheerful Chinese service, and when you open the menu, you will feel right at home if you've ever been to Hong Kong. Sunrise most certainly does not limit itself to fried rice and wonton noodles, delicious as they are. At Sunrise, you'll find a huge variety of food - intestine for the daring; Chinese curry which differs hugely from Indian; or perhaps some peanut butter-ladden French Toast. If Hong Kong's got it, you'll find it at Sunrirse.

Gotta be te best fastest and bigest portion of Noodles in town. Perfectly positioned in Newmarket right next to Rialto, dive in there before your movie - it's the perfect night out.
