Pets in Franklin-Auckland

My young dog, Ollie (12 months) and I have been training with Dog Guru since he was 2.5 months old. We have done a mixture of 1-1 and group sessions (beginner, intermediate and advanced) over this time. Dog Guru has a wealth of knowledge and a great ability to pass this onto owners. I have found the sessions to be of great benefit, not just for my pup, but more importantly for me - teaching me how to 'talk' to my dog in a way he understands and can learn from. All the sessions we have attended have been invaluable - with practical classes that provide real world practice and the opportunity to train the dogs off lead. Dog Guru has enabled me to be well on the way to a having a well adjusted, nicely trained dog.

August 2008 I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Brookdale Kennels, they were just fabulous. We were going overseas for 34 days and were in a quandary as to what boarding kennels we would use (we had an unsatisfactory experience with another kennel) so I spoke with a work colleague of mine, knowing how particular she is with her dog, she told me to give Jack a call. After having a very informative conversation with Rachael, one of Jack’s staff, I booked our ‘baby’ in for a ‘doggy sleepover’ translated - she was book in on the Saturday morning and picked up on the Sunday morning. This was so she could be introduced to Jack, his team and her accommodation. We were more than happy with the facility, Jack is so accommodating and happy to go over any queries or concerns you may have, his staff are just great, which made us feel completely at ease leaving Suede for so long. She was so excited to see Jack when we took her back for her long stay, which said it all really. We had a relaxed holiday, Suede had a ball and looked great, thanks to Jack and his team. Excellent upmarket boarding premises. Nice people to deal with, very friendly and always helpfull. Nothing is too much trouble. OUr cats have always been well looked after and we like the idea of no communal boarding. Our pets have thier hown large luxury cat pen. Love it. Highly recommended
