Holiday Parks & Camping Grounds in Christchurch City

We stayed at Kennedy Park Napier 26th Dec-5th Jan 2012. Unfortunately we were on a site that had other groups which had come together, so they stayed up late drinking and talking after the 10pm quiet time. we would'nt have minded if one of the park staff had walked about the camp to check on what is going on after the 10pm time. The staff did'nt appear to worry to much about problems, such as when I asked for change for washers and driers. particicularly after all the rain, everyone wanted change but it was'nt available all the time. I did suggest that the machine should be emptied regularly so the change was there. But I was told[we did that yesterday and got $480] I said do it Each day and that would help, I don't think they understood. There was a problem with hot water in the paraplegics bathroom and I told them twice as there was only enough to fill a baby bath and then it was not much more than tepid, even after running for a long time. So it meant the shower was always cold there. Bathrooms could have been cleaned more often as they got into quite a state at times and the wet did'nt help the situation. A rubber mat was finally put down at the doorway of the toilets after it had rained for a few days, up till then it had become quite slippery. A floor mop in the shower room could be helpfull to wipe the floor, so as not to be so wet and dirty.For the price we paid for a power site I would have expected better service. To see more staff about the grounds might be helpful when things go wrong. It would be helpful for staff to remind people that they park on their site and not block the roadway, which is what happened from time to time because campers thought they could park where they wanted to if they used their site up with a tent etc.
