Very bad haircuts here, hairdressers love to use the thinning scissors here also very expensive at $44 for a dry hair cut with no wash dry or straightening. Owner was very rude and refused to give a refund for a poor hair cut which we were told by a stylist at the Palms was uneven, overly textured and could not be fixed the stylist did not even attempt to fix it which shows how poor a job had been done. I would recommend not ever visiting this studio.

My partner and I had pamper package that was supposed to be as a couple (but the treat was entirely done seperately), We had a very good massage by another lady but then when we had the remaining treatment was very poor we thought. The owner spent 90% of the time (1 hour) out of the room fluffing around and did not say why or how long she would be gone for while we just waited wondering what was going on and if she would ever come back. The facial was roughly done and brief to say the least, the towel was cold and washed our facess without warning and was very heavy handed. The whole experience was very dissapointing and far from the romantic experience we had hoped for! I did not pay the full price because of this poor service and she offered to give us a complimentary "treatment" but not surprisingly we declined her offer!

At time of payment I was told that I could not use my gift certificate and if i which to use it I would have to pay full price. I contacted the manager and asked for a refund of $10 the difference between the speical and full prices. She refused. At the time it did not state on the website 2 Feb 2011 that gift certificates can not be used on specials. Plus it does not state on her gift certificates that they can not be used on specials. The manager has told me that she has 3000 more gift certificates that were printed wrong, missing the statement 'can not be used on specials' and she will continue to use them. Ask first, as this company is misleading their customers. I did use my gift certificate as I will not be returning.

I just returned from Accent on NouVeau and had a wonderful experience. I have wanted to try the Axxium, by OPI, gelish nails, so I made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. I have never been to the salon before but I would go back. Kerstie, the nail technician, did a great job - she was very friendly and really cared for how my nails looked (both fingernails and toenails). She didn't rush the appointment (and the massage chair in the pedicure chair is the best). If you are looking for a solution to nails that chip/split like mine, and don't want acrylics, you should book an appointment with Kerstie.
