Artists in Christchurch City

After looking around Christchurch for a top tattoo artist as always it was right around the corner ( Planet Tattoo ). I found the shop friendly ( from the smiling happy recieption staff )to the artists . Looking around the shop it was clean and well presented , no tacky flash plasted over the walls , it was well presented in folders ,easy to find each type of flash .Also there where folders of photos of there work , you carn't hide much in a photo , so after looking through these folders and talking to the tattooist ( Brent ) I was informed that there where three tattooist working in the shop so I had the option of male or female artists .So after talking to Brent about my needs I left him with some ideas of what I was looking at getting and left him to draw a design for me ( yes they can draw designs for you , real artists )after returning to the shop to look over design , it was just what I wanted ,and make a booking it was time for the tattoo out in the tattoo area the seats were very comfortable , great music playing which I was told that I could bring my own music if I liked ,Brent made me feel very relaxed applied the stencil asked if it was to my liking , which it was , and we started the tattooing , two hours later with plenty of banter , a few jokes and some good conversation we were finished . Well that was nearly two years ago with nearly 80% of my body tattooed , so I must be happy with the results ,even to the degree of giving Brent a free rain on some areas as he know just what suits me and the area to be added to . So I find sitting down and having Brent draw free hand on my skin then tattoo it very cool as its a one off .So as you can see I would recomend this shop and it's staff highly , but don't take my word go and look for yourself .
