Our experience with the Stepping Stone Trust in Christchurch would be rated as a 5 out of 5. We have learned about Stepping Stone mental health support service through the progress of our son who previously lived an isolated life without friends, job or even progress regarding medical treatment or assessment. We see the Stepping Stone service as a holistic approach where experienced and positive staff members work on finding practical solutions for integrating islolated people into society. It is a 'one stop shop' for overcoming whatever social, emotional, physical difficulties a mental illness can pose. Stepping Stone staff are excellent communicators and they go beyond the call of duty in caring and managing a person's recovery.
