Hi there!! I just wanted to write and let you know how THRILLED I was with the service I received at the Athletes Foot. Basically I needed a new pair of runners for treadmill and casual jogging. Firstly I went into a Footlocker store and was not greeted, I had to ask for assistance, and when they didn't have my shoe size, I was told "sorry about that" and the shop attendant walked off. It was mind boggling. There was no "we can order some in for you" or "I can check another store" or "How about this shoe, it has a similar function to what you need". After a few more stores, I walked into the Athletes Foot and was greeted straight away. The salesperson had SO much knowledge about the body and the way it works and what may be causing my left knee pain after running. She bought out 3 options in 3 different brands. These days there are so many shoes to choose from, I feel most people would be overwhelmed by the choices and walk out. So she kept it simple to my needs and tastes. She was not pushy but at the same time a GREAT sales person. She knew EVERY shoe and its function. I walked out spending $60.00 more than I had intended to spend, but with GREAT satisfaction and peace in knowing I had bought the right shoe!! Well done Athletes Foot, I will be back! Word of mouth is a powerful marketing tool..

The choice of designers collections organised by colours made finding what I was looking for much easier. Thankfully there was no sales pressure to buy and no invasive peeping round the curtain in the changing room to pass uninvited opinons. When I asked for an opinion there was a genuine respect and interest in how I felt and what I thought about the clothes I was trying on, such a refreshing change from so many experiences in shops. I felt my opinon was the one that really counted. This shop is now added to my regular "drop-in" circuit.
