We went to Snowplanet for the first time with a lot of hope. Unfortunately being a novice with my wife, I came with a bad experience without using the help of an instructor. We were left with our tools after spending upto 105$ and with no clear instructions or booklet for novice/ beginners. Somebody helped us inside to put our ski shoes correctly onto the ski boards. However, we were not informed to wear a good pair of gloves to keep our hands warm. Infact we were advised against using ski poles. I fell on the snow field and practically my hand went numb. They began turning flush red and absolutely heavy with inability to get up. I some how crawled down from the slope and struggled to take off my boots later but even the wrist guards. I am still feeling lot of pain in the tips of my fingers and muscle strain. Not sure if this is holding something against snowplanet for not having a good system in place for beginners who choose not to have an instructors. In fact some help booths have to be there just in case of an emergency. All in all a very bad experience and feel like waste of our time and money.
