My experience in this place wasn't helpfull. I ended up sicker in my mental health (although I am recovering now with help from outside). I asked many other people who were clients within this same system what they thought of the place. A lot of them agreed that they felt they weren't being listened to by the psychiatrists and other clinicians there and that their mental health was either not getting better or worsening. I had come to this mental health service seeking help for my severe mental illness. It sort of gave me some hope in the beginning that this service was supposed to help get people to a better life. I didn't know I would end up feeling more distressed as I was not listened to and my complaints didn't get me a better outcome. I wanted to come off a medication that had made my life worse. The doc didn't help until a yr after I had pleaded. I couldn't study and had to leave my degree for 2yrs. These meds messed with my memory and made me drowsy. Very unhappy!
