This is a regular / one of my favourite places to introduce to my friends and colleagues. Very prompt attentive and genuine service - always. The menu is very diverse and will accommodate any palate or preference. $12 lunch deals are fabulous value for money. My personal favourites include: Matidor's Cape (roasted chicken breast / thigh with roasted capsicum served with a chorizo pilaf); Lamb Cutlets; and the Fish of the Day (traditionally this used to be served with veges and a lemon garlic sauce, but nowadays more frequently served with portabello mushroom and tarragon sauce - both delicious). The pasta dishes are also equally delicious.

Fortuna - Dined here on my birthday. Food was great, service was great - highly enjoyed by my family of 5.

Amphora has a nice atmosphere about it. The waiting staff are always really cheery and helpful and the meals are yummy. I must say that this restaurant has the best sticky date dessert that I have ever tasted, a must have every time we dine here.

Great service, great food, great selection of wines at a very reasonable price! Staff were so friendly, efficient and observant. Been here twice. They never seems to disappoint me. Highly recommended!

I visit Midnight Express fairly often as I adore the food and decor of this restaurant. The food is always perfect, the service is friendly and I love the atmosphere of the place. The prices are very reasonable for the meals they serve, too. I highly recommend it! However, I have one small gripe... I have an English credit card (Mastercard) which I use frequently but Midnight Express cannot process my payment with it for some reason. I've used it all over NZ and have only come across 3 or 4 places that cannot process my payments. It is a chip and pin card and Mastercard say that some older machines are not compatible HOWEVER they MUST put the payment through manually. The staff at Midnight Express cannot do this so I am forced to find other payment options. Not ideal...

Ordered garlic mushrooms but I somehow failed to notice that they came with Chorizo sausage - would be fine except I am vegetarian! When it arrived, I realised my mistake and confessed. They asked me if I would like it made with something else instead and brought me another one made with Haloumi cheese - in a very good-tempered way, like we all make mistakes now and again, no big deal. It was very tasty, no additional charge for the inconvenience which was my fault. I will be a regular from now on!! Very refreshing to find such an accepting and accommodating attitude :)

Yulia 1 4th September 2011 5 star rating My partner and I had lunch at APADANA Restaurant on 02/09/2011. We were absolutely impressed by the atmosphere of this cozy place. It was like travelling to Middle East. Wall paintings of ancient heroes, genuine rugs, fireplace, Persian music - this amazing interior took my breath away and I almost forgot why we were there. We actually found this place accidentally - I bought a voucher online worth of $50 to spend at this restaurant. We wanted to taste something authentic so we ordered Moroccan lamb shank for me and Shandiz kebab for my partner. I must say that I've never eaten such beautiful lamb. Lamb is my favorite dish and I order it at every restaurant I visit. But this one exceeded my expectations. Juicy tender meat with aromatic sauce and perfectly mashed potato were outstanding. Shandiz kebab looked also marvelous. According to my partner, it tasted very well and the size of the portion was impressive. Having finished our lunch with a nice cup of coffee we left this place satisfied with new unforgettable experience and having in mind to come back there again. I would recommend APADANA to those who like good food, attention to detail and creativity.
