Went to Covo Grey Lynn for an end of year dinner and had a fantastic time! The nice area out the back had a wonderful atmosphere, the pasta was amazing and the staff were brilliant. The staff even spoke basic phrases in Italian which gave that extra special touch to the evening. Not bad value for money either! I would highly, highly recommend Covo!

Ivan and his team went out of their way to make our function a success. Ivan suggested a choice of set menus to ensure our meals came out in a timely manner and the front of house staff did a fantastic job of keeping us happy. The set menu was very good value and the food was excellent. I would happily recommend Covo and I look forward to dining there again.

we ate there last night. Just wonderful. Food was excellent in taste, timing, portion size and presentation. Staff are always wonderful, and the head chef is the friendliest chef I've come across. Absolutely recommend this place. Breakfasts are great too.

I am an Asian and love this place. back then in 2003 when I work @City almost eat there once a week. The pizza and pasta are prefect, just sometime the place a bit hot in summer...now working @ city will go there again.

Yulia 1 4th September 2011 5 star rating My partner and I had lunch at APADANA Restaurant on 02/09/2011. We were absolutely impressed by the atmosphere of this cozy place. It was like travelling to Middle East. Wall paintings of ancient heroes, genuine rugs, fireplace, Persian music - this amazing interior took my breath away and I almost forgot why we were there. We actually found this place accidentally - I bought a voucher online worth of $50 to spend at this restaurant. We wanted to taste something authentic so we ordered Moroccan lamb shank for me and Shandiz kebab for my partner. I must say that I've never eaten such beautiful lamb. Lamb is my favorite dish and I order it at every restaurant I visit. But this one exceeded my expectations. Juicy tender meat with aromatic sauce and perfectly mashed potato were outstanding. Shandiz kebab looked also marvelous. According to my partner, it tasted very well and the size of the portion was impressive. Having finished our lunch with a nice cup of coffee we left this place satisfied with new unforgettable experience and having in mind to come back there again. I would recommend APADANA to those who like good food, attention to detail and creativity.

Have been here several times now! Fantastic food, incredible service and the cocktails are the best in town! Very busy place, however always get the food out quickly! Expect a wait for a table though!
