25th November 2012 I visited here for first time today with family. I had the Fishermans Basket with beaut Southern blue cod and seafood with wedges and a nice flat white coffee afterwards, - yum! Loved how the fishermans basket was served on a bed of newspaper, - the old fashioned way. Awesome view of Fortrose beach from the window and it's just across the road from the restaurant. It's a fab cafe, great entry/coffee/food stop once one enters the Catlins!
